At Story2, we believe in the transformative power of authentic storytelling, and we are dedicated to helping students unlock that power. Since 2014, we’ve taught more than 250,000 students how to use their real voices to complete essays that help them get admitted and get money to thrive at their top-choice colleges.

But this year, things are very different. When COVID-19 began to shut down schools all over the world, our team at Story2 sat down and asked ourselves, “How can we help?”

We recognize that this pandemic has fundamentally disrupted college admissions for the class of 2021. Standardized tests are not consistently available, and many students are receiving only pass/fail grades. This means that the typical admissions metrics may look radically different this year, and personal essays will play a bigger role in helping admissions officers understand why they should admit diverse students into their colleges.

Now, more than ever, students must learn to tell their own stories, and we are here to help.

We’re excited to announce the launch of Story2 College — a suite of college admissions and scholarship essay-writing tools and resources that are free for all students in the class of 2021. For the duration of the school year, students from the class of 2021 will have unlimited access to the core offering, including our patented and proprietary StoryBuilder writing tool, on-demand courses that teach the fundamentals of college essay-writing, and "how to" articles created by our expert coaches.

We’ve seen how students are struggling in these difficult times, and we want to ensure that those who most need support can learn to advocate for themselves in the college admissions process. There’s a big gap to close this year, and we’ve built the tools to close it. We want the students most affected by this pandemic to  be able to access those tools free of charge, learning how to use storytelling to understand their value, communicate authentically, and complete powerful college admission and scholarship essays that connect with colleges and produce measurable results.

We’re committed to helping as many students as possible — both directly by working with parents and students, and also by partnering with high schools and access programs. If you’re a student, we can help you complete personal essays that stand out. If you’re a college counselor, principal, or superintendent, we can help your students get admitted to college.

We’re here to help — to get started, head to https://storybuilder.story2.com/register. We look forward to working with you!
