In an interview with Princeton University Career Services, Carol Barash, Story to College Founder, CEO, comments on how to thrive at Princeton, or any school.

No matter which college or university you attend, you’ll have four years of access to tremendous, once-in-a-lifetime, opportunities—intellectual opportunities, service opportunities, friendship opportunities, community opportunities, and more. So don’t be afraid to take risks!

Challenge yourself to move out of your comfort zone. Engage in activities that enable you to try new things, meet new people, and find new parts of yourself. Barash advises, “Go the extra little bit to connect with people and opportunities that you might not automatically connect to. Don’t do anything on auto-pilot.”
